Physician Surgery Orthopedic Trauma

**Facility:** Level III Trauma Center

- **Role:** 100% inpatient Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM-

**Call Schedule:** Shared evening and weekend call 1:8-

**Support:** Postoperative clinic support and dedicated APP assistance-

**Operating Room:** Allocated trauma OR block time-

**Collaboration:** Excellent system infrastructure fostering multispecialty teamwork

**Required Skills and Procedures:**

- **Qualifications:** Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Surgery

- **Case Management:** Proficient in managing complex surgical cases within a dynamic collaborative environment-

**Support Systems:** Access to multidisciplinary teams and resources enhancing surgical practice-

**Autonomy:** Ability to practice with significant independence backed by comprehensive institutional support

- **Commitment:** Focused on delivering superior patient outcomes through evidence-based team-oriented care

**Qualifications:**

- Board certification in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery or truly board-eligible

- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty

- Active medical licenses in both Iowa and Illinois

- Demonstrated clinical and surgical expertise with a commitment to holistic care of hand and upper extremity issues

- Open to candidates ranging from graduating fellows to seasoned orthopedic surgeons
