Ellis Medicine is seeking a Per Diem Hospitalists to join our established and highly collaborative Hospital Medicine team at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady New York. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical management for hospitalized adult patients
• Perform admissions daily patient rounds and discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Respond to clinical changes and medical emergencies as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Promote high-quality evidence-based and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active New York State Medical License
• Active DEA Registration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high-quality inpatient care

Compensation & Benefits

• $150/hour for weekday shifts
• $160/hour for weekend shifts
• Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program
