Primary Care Physician

Location: Cherokee Nation Region
Pay Rate: $150 to $160/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 2.5 to 3 patients per hour
Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a Board-Certified Primary Care Physician for a locum opportunity with Cherokee Nation. This role provides primary care services for patients of all ages including routine acute and chronic care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Examine patients take medical histories and develop treatment plans
Provide primary care for adult pediatric acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care needs
Maintain accurate medical records and complete required documentation
Support flexible scheduling needs including nights weekends or holidays if required

Requirements

active oklahoma medical license required; active IMLC with Oklahoma application accepted at submission
board certification in primary care family medicine or internal medicine required
minimum 3 years of primary care experience preferred
bls acls and pals certifications required
npdb malpractice disclosure attestation and required case/reference documents must be provided
