Physician Orthopedic Trauma

Deaconess Specialty Physicians is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Trauma Physician to join our team in Evansville IN. This position offers a guaranteed salary of$850000for one year and a$65000 sign-on bonus.

Primary Responsibilities:

Trauma Surgery

• Provide dedicated orthopedic trauma coverage for the Vanderburgh and Warrick County trauma program including fulfillment of approximately 100 primary trauma service shifts annually in accordance with contractual expectations. Call expectation of 1:4.
• Establish and maintain an outpatient orthopedic trauma practice to support post-discharge follow-up fracture care and longitudinal management of patients treated through the trauma program.
• Ensure timely inpatient management of orthopedic trauma patients through a coordinated care model that leverages both surgeons and advanced practice providers (APPs). APP staffing and deployment will be optimized to support quality outcomes operational efficiency and the long-term sustainability of the trauma program.

Position Requirement:

Applicants must have or obtainlicensure in the states of Kentucky and Indianato practice.
