Job Summary

**Position Announcement: Staff MD OB/GYN**

A hospital-owned Four Seasons OB/GYN practice in Brattleboro Vermont is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to provide comprehensive womens health services in a collaborative physician-respected environment. They offer an excellent quality of life with flexible scheduling.

**Job Overview:**The Staff OB/GYN will be responsible for delivering full-spectrum obstetric and gynecological care to a diverse patient demographic including:

- Managing referrals for gynecologic consults from local primary care providers and midwives.

- Performing a range of office-based gynecological procedures.

- Maintaining a robust surgical practice supported by access to three state-of-the-art operating rooms.

- Engaging in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries.

**Clinical Responsibilities:**- Work in the clinic 3-4 days per week seeing approximately 12-14 patients daily.

- Allocate around three dedicated operating room days per month.

- Provide professional backup for midwife-led obstetric care encompassing uncomplicated deliveries.

- Participate in a manageable home call rotation (1 in 4) to support continuity of care.

- Contribute to a birth center that offers VBACs water births nitrous oxide analgesia and 24-hour epidural services.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians certified nurse midwives nurse practitioners nursing staff and medical assistants.

- Adhere to evidence-based practices in a state that guarantees constitutional protections for reproductive rights.

- Join a stable practice environment with a track record of low physician turnover.

**Qualifications:**- MD or DO degree.

- Board Certified or legitimately Board Eligible in OB/GYN (please indicate graduation date if Board Eligible).

- A clean malpractice history.

- Current NPDB Self Query Report (completed within the last 30 days).

- Active Vermont medical license (must be secured prior to commencement).

- Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program in the U.S. or Canada.

**Certification Requirements:**- Board Certified or Board Eligible.

- Compliance with Vermont state licensing requirements.

- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency.
