Ellis Medicine is seeking a Nocturnist to join our established and highly collaborative Hospital Medicine team at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady New York. Ellis Hospital is a 438-bed community and teaching hospital offering a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency medicine cardiac care surgery cancer care neuroscience and behavioral health. Our Hospital Medicine program is supported by experienced physicians advanced practice providers specialty consultants and hospital leadership committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

• Provide comprehensive medical management for hospitalized adult patients
• Perform admissions daily patient rounds and discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Respond to clinical changes and medical emergencies as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Promote high-quality evidence-based and patient-centered care

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active New York State Medical License
• Active DEA Registration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high-quality inpatient care

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary:$382200
• CME Allowance: $4500 annually plus CME time

• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance extra shift incentives and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the addition providers typically receive other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
