Physician Neurology

Deaconess Clinic the regions largest and most integrated healthcare group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join our growing team in Newburgh Indiana. This is a full-time outpatient-focused position with minimal inpatient consultation support. We welcome candidates with subspecialty training in Movement Disorders MS or Epilepsy though this is not a requirement.

Location: Newburgh Indiana
Position: Full-Time BC/BE Neurologist
Schedule: Monday-Friday 36 hours/week of patient care (Outpatient Focus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Primary focus on outpatient neurology with minimal inpatient consultation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and primary care providers.
• Utilize the shared Epic EMR system across all Deaconess clinics and hospitals.
• Work Monday to Friday with 36 hours/week dedicated to patient care.
• Call coverage is shared equally among the outpatient neurology team for outpatient calls. Inpatient neurology is covered by inpatient neuro-hospitalists.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Neurology.
• Preferably with subspecialty training in Movement Disorders MS or Epilepsy but not required.
• Commitment to providing compassionate evidence-based care to patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
