Job Summary
Annual volume: 24000
Coverage model: 24 hrs physician 22 hrs APP
80 hospital beds
EMR: Epic
Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited 4 year medical school (MD) or an accredited Osteopathic school (DO) followed by Residency Training (3 years). ECFMG Required for foreign graduates.
Clinical Experience: New graduates acceptable: EM residency graduates within the past 12 months are considered.
License: Active unrestricted TN Medical license & DEA w/ TN address along w/ schedules 22N33N4 & 5
Board Certification: Must pass board specialty exam administered by American Board of Medical Specialties (ABEM ABFM ABIM) American Board of Physician Specialties American Osteopathic Association (DO)
Merit Badge: ACLS ATLS and PALS if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. NRP required for Non-ABEM providers.
Immunizations: Documentation of MMR/Varicella (2) vaccines or titers with values indicating immunity for MMR & Varicella. Two-Step TB Test within the past 12 months (a 2nd TB Test will need to be completed prior to activation of privileges). If TB Test is positive Chest X-ray is required within the last 3 months. TB QuantiFERON Gold test result indicating immunity (if taken within the last three months of privileges being granted a 2nd TB Test will not be required).
Case Log: Case Logs for the last two years in addition to any documentation for special training for special procedures
CME/CEU: Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required during initial application and every two years for reappointments
Specific Facility Procedures: N/A
Malpractice Coverage: $1M Per Loss Event/3M Annual Aggregate Coverage
Additional Details: Required to be a supervising physician for NPs and PAs.
