JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active MN license (PA or NP)
- Board: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner; MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire
- DEA: Yes
- Certifications: BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 180 days; NCCPA certification upon hire; Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) or equivalent PA certification within specialty upon hire
- Experience: 1 year experience; 1 year OR experience required; prior Orthopedic/sports medicine experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required
- First assist in OR for total joint replacements fracture repairs foot/ankle shoulder knee hip hand/wrist and general orthopedic procedures
- Provide clinical coverage in clinic seeing 2025 orthopedic patients per day
- Perform casting splinting DME application and joint injections
- Round on patients in the hospital setting on mornings and occasional weekends
- Collaborate with surgical team on OR days and handle administrative duties on designated days
