JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Arizona license
- Board: PA (Physician Assistant) board certification required
- DEA: DEA required
- Certifications: BLS ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
- Provide cardiothoracic surgical care to adult/geriatric patients
- Manage CVICU and step-down patients (10-15 per day)
- Perform surgeries (1-2 per day) including endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
- Take beeper call from 3p-7a on weeknights during assignment
- Perform required procedures such as temporary pacemaker removal chest tube removal IABP removal and arterial line placement
