Position Summary

The Endocrinology APP provides specialty care for adult patients with endocrine disorders in an outpatient setting in collaboration with the supervising endocrinologist. The APP supports evaluation education and longitudinal management for patients with diabetes thyroid disease adrenal and pituitary conditions and metabolic bone disorders. The role emphasizes chronic disease management patient empowerment and timely specialty and manage adult patients with endocrine conditions including diabetes thyroid disease adrenal and pituitary disorders and focused assessments order and interpret diagnostic testing and develop evidence-based treatment diabetes care including insulin management CGM interpretation and patient and adjust medications and hormone therapies under the direction of the collaborating patients and families on disease processes lifestyle factors and treatment with physicians primary care providers pharmacists and nutritionists for coordinated endocrine care accurately timely and in compliance with the EHR -up on labs imaging and referrals to ensure continuity of in quality improvement initiatives team meetings and case professionalism collaboration commitment to team based evidence-based outpatient endocrinology of an accredited Advanced Nursing or Physician Assistant programNational board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Adult or Family Medicine or national certification as a PA-CUnrestricted nursing license or physician assistant medical license (or ability to obtain) in Washington NPI & prescriptive authorityCurrent BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Associationv

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $147400.00 - $151200.00 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
