PA or APRN to assist Dr. Trad in our Cardiology Clinic

Provides health care in collaboration with physician(s). Manages selected cases according to established protocols; maintains case histories medical reports and other records; prepares treatment plans; orders x-rays and other diagnostic procedures; writes prescriptions according to protocols; refers acute and chronic care patients; patient education counseling; conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and Supervision ORthe OklahomaBoard of Nursing
- Demonstrates graduation from an approved school for Advanced Practice Clinicians (PA or APRN)
- Experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting preferred
- National certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (if applicable)
- Licensed under the supervision of an Active Staff physician
- Physically and mentally able to conduct job duties as listed
- Maintains malpractice coverage as defined by the Board of Trustees
- Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to discriminate minute details
- Able to communicate (written and oral) in English
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
- Adequate vision or correctable with glasses/contacts for evaluating patients.
- Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs. reach pull push bend stoop and kneel
- Able to hear see and feel to accurately assess monitor and administer care
- Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: administer medications and handle instruments)
- Able to work in a latex burdened environment
