Physician Assistant Inboxologist

Job Summary
Corewell Health is seeking an EXPERIENCED Physician Assistant for an Inboxologist position in Southwest Michigan. This is a hybrid position responsible for a number of critical duties. The main function will be managing in-basket items for on-site primary care Providers. This position requires the PA to be IN OFFICE 2 - 4 times a month. The on-site homebase for this position is located in Bridgman MI.
Additional duties will include:
Participate in call for second level triage Monday through Friday 8-5 pm. No evening or weekend call
Primarily remote position with 2 - 4 in-person days monthly
Attend initial in-person onboarding
Manage routine medication refills
Communicate lab results as appropriate
Answer patient advice requests and patient phone calls
Manage MyChart messages and requests
Review patient data with Physicians & APPs for proper treatment
Documentation of patient records and EHR
Complete billable services such as but not limited to: E-Visits
Participate in process improvement initiatives for the Inboxology program
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Masters Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
1 year of relevant experience in office practice setting/previous clinical experience in area of speciality Preferred.
6 months of relevant experience Required
LIC-Physician Assistant - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire - Required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association within 60 Days - Required
