Job Summary
RHSC in St. Paul MN is looking for exceptional patient focused Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team and make a difference for our patients and our community.
This position is responsible for providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department including patient evaluation diagnosis ordering and interpretation of diagnostic studies (including advanced imaging) performance of procedures within scope development of treatment plans and collaboration with Emergency Medicine physicians and the healthcare team. Performs other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE:0.8 FTE- Typical Emergency Department Schedule. Blend of Day/Swing/Night Shifts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Physician Assistant Certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current Minnesota license
- Wisconsin licensure required within one (1) year of hire date.
- ACLS/BLS
- ATLS within one (1) year of hire date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- EMERGENCY MEDICINE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- PALS recommended
PAY RANGE STATEMENT:
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education experience knowledge skills location and abilities as well as internal equity.
