Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop recover and maintain physical mobility/function.

What were looking for

Education: Associates degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
Licenses: Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of TN
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Essential Functions:

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patients responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support program
