Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Contract – Waycross, GA

We are hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract position in a skilled nursing facility located in Waycross GA. This full-time role offers a supportive patient-centered environment where youll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized treatment area.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Georgia.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a care team.
