Physical Therapy Assistant Full Time Days

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Rehab Services and Physical Therapist to provide various methods of Physical Therapy according to patient treatment plan. To serve as a resource person for PTs PT Assistants and PT Aides.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
REQUIRED SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of regulations QA and procedures and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
