• Hours:Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like: CMHsCommunity Springs Healthcare Facility (CSHCF) is a 105-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility providing transitional or long-term care. A 15-bed high-functioning memory care unit provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimers or other memory Springs offers rehabilitation services. Speech physical and occupational therapy are provided by full-time in-house therapists.

As aPhysical Therapy Assistant you will be:

• Leading patients through strength balance and mobility exercises
• Providing manual therapies stretching and applying treatments like ultrasound or electrical muscle stimulation
• Communicating with patients and caregivers to provide clear directionson the use of rehabilitativedevices and equipment
• Preparing and sanitizing treatment areas ensuring equipment is set up
• Monitoring and reporting progress and documenting patientcare services with relevant and timely information

Qualifications

• Education:Completion of aPhysical Therapy Assistant program with an AssociatesDegree from an accredited institution
• Skills: Patient care problem-solving customer service and listening skills
• Licensure/Certification:Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant Certificate
• Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing and walking ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
