Looking for a better work-life balance Join the outpatient rehabilitation team at Northwest Specialty Hospital in Coeur dAlene Idaho. This position offers a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule with no weekends or holidays allowing you to focus on both your patients and your personal life.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will work closely with our physical therapists to provide individualized treatment and rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting. Our team is committed to delivering patient-centered care that helps individuals improve mobility regain function and achieve their recovery goals.
This position serves a variety of patient populations and supports treatment plans developed in collaboration with physicians and licensed physical therapists.
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions according to patient goals capabilities and tolerance levels.
- Support pre-operative and post-operative spine rehabilitation protocols.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians therapists and clinical team members to coordinate quality patient care.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation during the workday.
- Participate in department meetings professional development activities and community outreach initiatives as assigned.
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Idaho PTA license or actively pursuing Idaho licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality standards.
Schedule Highlights
