Job Summary:
The role of the Physical Therapist Aide is to work closely with our experienced physical therapy team gaining hands-on experience and advancing their career in the healthcare field. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a career in Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy or other related healthcare professions. With the guidance of our licensed therapists you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and facilitating clinic operations.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the physical therapy team to prepare treatment areas for patient therapy sessions.
• Escort patients to and from treatment areas ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Assist in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by licensed therapists.
• Manage basic administrative tasks including appointment scheduling maintaining patient records and handling documentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment promoting a safe and hygienic environment.
• Ensure overall facility cleanliness including offices restrooms gym break room and waiting area.
• Foster effective communication and patient flow among therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families showing empathy and professionalism at all times.
• Adhere to legal ethical and professional guidelines prioritizing patient confidentiality in all aspects.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous professional development and learning within the physical therapy field.
