Job Summary

Position: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $40 - $52 per hour

Work Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday (No weekend rotation)

Location: 115 Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at 115 Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Physical Therapist you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain caused by injuries illnesses or disabilities. Your role will be crucial in improving the quality of life for our patients and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients physical condition and develop a treatment plan based on their individual needs

- Administer and monitor therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients strength mobility and range of motion

- Utilize various techniques such as massage heat/cold therapy and electrical stimulation to relieve pain and promote healing

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home

- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting preferred

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as various treatment techniques and modalities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
