Job Summary

Position: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $40 - $52 per hour

Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with one weekend day required per month

Facility: 193 bed skilled nursing facility with a nice mix of short-term and long-term care patients.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our 193 bed skilled nursing facility. Our facility offers a nice mix of short-term and long-term care patients providing a diverse and rewarding work environment. As a P-Physical Therapist you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical disabilities and conditions helping them to regain their strength mobility and independence.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients needs and goals

- Implement and monitor treatment plans making adjustments as needed to ensure progress

- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients improve their physical function and reduce pain

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue at home

- Document all treatments and progress in patients medical records

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Stay updated on new techniques and advancements in physical therapy to continuously improve patient care

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license or eligibility to obtain state license

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
