Position: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $46-$51 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with 147 beds

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated P-Physical Therapist to join our team at a thriving Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Physical Therapist you will play a crucial role in helping our patients recover from injuries and illnesses improve their mobility and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients medical histories injuries and treatment goals to develop personalized treatment plans

- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve patients strength range of motion and functional abilities

- Monitor and track patients progress adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies utilizing them to enhance patient care

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution

- Valid state Physical Therapist license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting

- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and kinesiology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
