In response to the health care needs of a growing community in 1977 Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.
Scope of Work:
In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team provides therapeutic services including evaluation treatment and education. The Senior PT works closely with the Supervisor and Clerical Coordinator of the area to achieve the highest level of performance for the staff and compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency requirements. Evaluation and treatment of patients. Assists the Supervisor to monitor staff competence clinical performance organize clinic in-services and support staff education. Assists the Supervisor with hiring orienting delegating and organizing the work of co-workers and staff. Monitors treatment cost and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency. Monitors productivity on a continuous basis. Assists with PI projects. Directly monitors and supports the clinics technical aide coverage and activities. Demonstrate knowledge of growth/development/dynamics behavior of various age group population and is able to perform assessments/treatments appropriately.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
Required Bachelors Degree or equivalent - Graduate from an approved APTA school.
Master degree preferred.
2 years of relevant experience At least 2 years of clinical experience with a varied patient population. Required
License in the state of Michigan is required.
BLS Certification required. AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross Upon hire
