Lifepoint Rehabilitation partners within Baystate Noble Hospitals 15 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit. Our rehab professionals offer individualized treatment programs for patients 18 years and older caring for a variety of situations. Join a dedicated rehabilitation team committed to delivering high-quality care to patients in Westfield and the surrounding communities. Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Baystate Noble Hospital is a rural community hospital with an average daily census of 4050 patients.

Baystate Noble Hospital is a 65-bed acute care community hospital located in Westfield Massachusetts. As part of the Baystate Health network we provide access to world-class physicians advanced treatments cutting-edge diagnostics and the latest medical technology. Our inpatient rehabilitation program supports patients recovering from life-altering injuries or illnesses offering 24/7 nursing care and continuous support. We treat a wide range of conditions including concussions lymphedema orthopedic and sports injuries lower back and neck pain and neuromuscular disorders. Our comprehensive therapy services include physical occupational and speech therapy to help patients regain function and independence.

How youll contribute

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The therapist conducts comprehensive assessments establishes appropriate goals and develops personalized interventions to restore function reduce pain prevent disability and promote mobility. Treatments may include therapeutic exercises manual techniques and the use of physical agents and assistive devices. The Physical Therapist educates patients on injury prevention ergonomics and rehabilitation strategies while also supervising and delegating tasks to physical therapy assistants students and support personnel in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Progress is continuously monitored and documented with plans modified as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Physical Therapist in this role is responsible for evaluating and treating patients across both the medical-surgical unit and the Emergency Department.

What were looking for

Applicants should have

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Physical Therapist License in State

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Previous experience in Rehab setting preferred
