Physical Therapist (PT) Acute Care Hospital Travel Contract

Location: Lubbock TX
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital assignment in Lubbock Texas. This opportunity is ideal for therapists looking to work in a high-acuity hospital environment while maintaining a stable daytime schedule. Both experienced travelers and first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with acute medical surgical and post-trauma conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility strength and functional independence.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses case managers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work exclusively within the assigned acute care setting with no floating requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Active unrestricted Texas Physical Therapist (PT) License.
  • Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Hospital experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.
