Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977 it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy a surgical pavilion a pain management clinic orthopedic surgery inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring Fixed MRI including pacemaker cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).

About the Unit

Corewell Health physical therapy provides treatments to individuals of all ages that have pain or physical limitations affecting their ability to move and perform everyday activities. Our team of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are licensed health care professionals focused on maximizing movement potential injury prevention treatment and sustainable wellness.

Scope of Work

The physical therapist is responsible for examining evaluating and developing a treatment plan for patients with functional limitations and disabilities. PTs provide consultation to healthcare providers regarding a patients continuum of care. The individual in this position is required to appropriately interact with all patients regardless of age or culture and to adhere to the Corewell Health customer service standards.

Standard Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy required. Masters or Doctorate Degree preferred.

• Michigan State License in Physical Therapy required.
• BLS certification required.
