Job Summary

Job Title: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $41.53 - $45.63 per hour

Schedule: 35 hours per week Monday-Friday with no weekend rotation

We are a company-owned skilled nursing facility (SNF) that provides high-quality care to our residents. Our facility has a nice mix of short-stay and long-term care patients allowing our physical therapists to work with a diverse population and gain valuable experience.

Job Description:

As a Physical Therapist (P-Physical Therapist) you will play a vital role in helping our residents regain their mobility and independence. You will work closely with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to determine the patients physical abilities and limitations

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the patients needs and goals

- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve strength range of motion balance and coordination

- Instruct and supervise patients in therapeutic exercises and activities

- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques

- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible care for our residents

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting

- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and modalities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
