Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Description:

• The staff physical therapist shall evaluate and treat patients develop a treatment plan and set goals for patients.
• Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.
• The PT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.
• The therapist will assist with the education of affiliating students department staff hospital staff and the community at large.
• The therapist will appropriately delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
• The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan.
• The therapist must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental abilities vision hearing or mobility.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current license by the Ky Board of Physical Therapy
• BLS within 30 days from date of hire
