Shift: Full-Time; Days Monday-Friday; rotating Saturday inpatient coverage approximately once every two months

Grundy County Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. - Evaluate and treat patients requiring physical therapy services in inpatient and pediatric outpatient settings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patients goals and functional needs.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support recovery mobility and independence.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians caregivers therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Provide guidance and supervision to physical therapist assistants and support personnel as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans progress and home exercise programs.
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team discussions to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives program development and departmental goals.
Education
- Graduate of accredited educational program in physical therapy
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current license in good standing to practice physical therapy in the state of Iowa or eligible.
