Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients developing individualized treatment plans and providing rehabilitation services to improve mobility function and overall quality of life. This role works closely with patients caregivers and healthcare professionals to deliver effective therapy interventions monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. The Physical Therapist also provides education on injury prevention pain management and safe mobility practices while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards.
- Assess patients physical conditions movement abilities and medical history to develop treatment plans.
- Design and implement rehabilitation programs to address functional limitations.
- Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercises manual therapy and treatment modalities.
- Educate patients caregivers and staff on rehabilitation techniques safety and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Document evaluations treatments and patient outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
- Support patient recovery and promote independence through evidence-based therapy practices.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Physical Therapist license.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation practices and patient care standards.
- Strong assessment clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare teams.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
