We are looking for an energetic and results driven Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic and holistic care on our clinical team. What will you be doing in this role

• Working towards the achievement of patient care time targets and productivity standards
• Providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries muscle nerve joint and/or bone diseases
  • Operating according to underlying goals of the inpatient acute environment optimizing the length of stay while preparing the patient for transition to a longer-term setting in an efficient and safe manner
  • Collaborating with other therapists/physicians within care pathways as necessary
• Restoring patient function while relieving pain with ambitions of avoiding disability
• Integrating Rehab Techs to support the patients plan of care
• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate would:

• Have an Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Have the required state licensure certification and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
• Provide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Have the ability to stand walk and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
• Have a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• Have strong computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
• Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
