Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a hospital-based setting. This role includes working with both outpatient and inpatient populations under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility function and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support patient rehabilitation goals.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients families physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
- Assist in the daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
- Support program development and quality care initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in hospital outpatient or inpatient settings preferred.
