As a PRN PTA youll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality treatment and help patients improve their strength mobility balance endurance and overall independence.
Youll also:
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions according to the patients plan of care
- Assist patients in achieving functional and mobility goals
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate effectively with patients families and the rehabilitation team
- Develop positive relationships with patients and facility staff
- Promote safe mobility and functional independence
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable compassionate and team-oriented
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the therapy team
- Skilled nursing or senior rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required
