Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital is a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility located at 700 W 45th Street in Austin Texas. Its designed to help individuals recover from serious injuries or illnesses that have significantly impacted their ability to function independently.

Specialized Rehabilitation Programs: Tailored care for patients recovering from stroke brain injury spinal cord injury amputation orthopedic trauma and other neurological or complex conditions.
Intensive Therapy Model: Patients typically receive at least three hours of physical occupational and/or speech therapy per day five days a week under the supervision of a rehabilitation physician.
State-of-the-Art Facility: Offers modern therapy equipment private rooms and a dedicated team focused on maximizing recovery and quality of life.

How youll contribute
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
Essential Functions
- Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
- Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
- Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Education: Associates degree from a PTA program.
- Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
- License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
- Certifications: CPR certification required.
