We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Alma MI on a PRN basis. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who wants scheduling flexibility while providing quality hands-on care and helping patients achieve their therapy goals.
- Provide treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with mobility transfers strengthening balance and functional activities
- Follow individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient response and progress
- Communicate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Provide encouraging respectful patient-focused care
- Current Michigan PTA license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and organizational skills
