At CPTE Physical Therapist Assistants are valued members of our clinical team. Youll partner with Physical Therapists to deliver personalized evidence-based care that helps patients achieve their goals while building lasting relationships in a collaborative outpatient practice committed to exceptional outcomes.
Your day-to-day:
- Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving strength mobility balance coordination endurance and overall function
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises neuromuscular re-education therapeutic activities and functional movement training
- Assist patients with gait training transfers mobility activities and other functional tasks as appropriate
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress concerns and updates with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on home exercise programs injury prevention strategies and healthy movement patterns to support long-term outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems in compliance with company and state standards
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists front office staff and support teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience
- Participate in ongoing professional development through mentorship continuing education and clinical collaboration opportunities
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues to support a positive team-oriented clinic culture

- Active New Hampshire PTA license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to build positive relationships with patients of all ages and activity levels
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics sports medicine and functional rehabilitation
- Passion for delivering high-quality evidence-based patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative team-oriented mindset
