McKinley Park Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per-Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outstanding rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA assists residents in improving mobility strength balance endurance and functional abilities while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

• Deliver physical therapy treatments and interventions as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises gait training balance activities transfer training and functional mobility programs.
• Monitor resident response to treatment and report changes in condition or progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Reinforce resident and family education regarding exercises safety precautions mobility techniques and fall prevention.
• Assist residents in achieving established rehabilitation goals.

• Communicate effectively with Physical Therapists nursing staff physicians residents families and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care planning and rehabilitation team meetings as requested.
• Promote positive resident outcomes through teamwork and collaboration.

• Complete timely accurate and compliant treatment documentation.
• Maintain therapy records in accordance with facility policies and payer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA infection control and safety standards.
• Follow all regulatory and professional practice guidelines.

• Provide compassionate resident-centered care.
• Support facility quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive rehabilitation experience for residents and families.

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• License in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional resident care
