Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Inpatient & Outpatient Rehab for an exciting opportunity in Juneau AK.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by Physical Therapists
• Provide therapy interventions to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Document treatment sessions patient responses and progress notes
• Assist with mobility training adaptive equipment fitting and functional exercises
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination
• Support discharge planning and home exercise program education
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
• Maintain therapy equipment supplies and treatment spaces
• Collaborate with providers nurses and rehabilitation team members
• Provide patient and caregiver education for home-based recovery

Requirements

• Associate Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
• Active PTA license required
• BLS certification required
• Valid drivers license required
• Acute care or outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Experience with adaptive equipment and mobility training preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy biomechanics and movement science
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
• Documentation and EMR proficiency
• Ability to work in physically demanding clinical environments
