Engage Senior Therapy a proud member ofFusion Physical Therapy Partners is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team delivering compassionate care at assisted living facilities in Bedford NH.This is your chance to empower the geriatric and senior population to regain strength mobility and independence while working in a supportive environment.
- Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care according to the therapists treatment plan.
- Assist patients as necessary with walking transferring and dressing.
- Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care
- Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures objectives quality improvement program safety environmental and infection control standards as required.
- Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for maintaining functional independence and a better quality of life
- Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs in-service meetings and workshops
