The McKeesport Area School District is seeking a passionate and student-centered Elementary Physical Education Teacher to inspire healthy active lifestyles while promoting teamwork sportsmanship and lifelong wellness.

The Elementary Physical Education Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging physical education instruction for students in grades K5. The successful candidate will create a safe inclusive and positive learning environment that supports students physical social and emotional development.

• Plan and deliver standards-based physical education instruction aligned with Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
• Promote physical fitness motor skill development teamwork and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Establish and maintain a safe structured and positive learning environment.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with teachers administrators and families to support student success.
• Participate in professional learning faculty meetings and school events.
• Uphold district policies and maintain professional responsibilities.

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Teaching Certificate in Health and Physical Education (PreK12).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students families and colleagues.
• Ability to integrate engaging and developmentally appropriate instructional practices.

Salary and benefits are provided in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.
