Job Summary
PHP Developer IILocation: Horsham PA In-Office Hybrid available after successful onboarding periodSchedule: Typically Monday-Friday from 9 am - 6 pm Overview:The PHP Developer II is responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality database-driven web applications with a focus on backend functionality. This role involves collaborating with a team of developers to deliver robust and scalable web solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in web development relational databases excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:Develop test and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP SQL and relevant web technologiesWrite clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standardsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environmentsIntegrate third-party APIs and services into web applicationsPerform code reviews and provide constructive feedback mentorship and support to junior developersStay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve skills and knowledge continuouslyParticipate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenanceAssist in the development of technical documentation including user guides and API documentationContribute to the improvement of the web development process and practices within the teamWork efficiently to ensure uptime and optimum user experienceUnderstanding of common web application security concerns and their mitigationAssist in the monitoring and maintenance of Linux servers Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field or equivalent practical experienceMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in PHP developmentProficiency in SQL (MySQL HANA and SQL Server) and ability to write and optimize SQL queriesStrong understanding of version control systems such as GitExperience with web performance optimizationExperience in Linux system administrationExperience developing and integrating with RESTful APIs Desirable Skills:Knowledge of CSS and JavaScript (Bootstrap 5 is a plus)Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practicesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage time effectively and meet deadlinesAbility to handle challenging situations professionallyExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail There at Every Turn: Our BenefitsWe believe in empowering our employees through career growth opportunities ongoing learning and a strong culture of support.
