- Ensure all member medical records are accessible and retained in compliance with federal state and contract regulations (CFR ARS AAC HIPAA AHCCCS/DDD).
- Work on-site at the DDD Records Management Center in a warehouse environment with minimal supervision.
- Organize log shelve and maintain incoming files daily.
- Quality-check received records for compliance before assigning storage locations.
- Identify records for digitization and ensure digitization meets required standards.
- Retrieve records in response to requests and track outgoing records for return and reprocessing.
- Box scan and digitize active and non-retention member records.
- Assist with the proper destruction of paper records once digitized and approved.
- Support Records Supervisor with special projects related to records storage and maintenance.
- Perform general office duties including filing typing operating office machines and data entry.
- Prioritize and manage high volume workloads maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Apply knowledge of federal/state record retention schedules and HIPAA requirements.
- Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other departmental staff.
- Requires strong organizational skills independence and proficiency with Google Suite.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; one year of records handling and data entry experience preferred.
