Job Summary
As a Phlebotomist you will be working with a variety of patients team members and clinics/ you like variety this role is perfect for you!
Work Schedule:MondayFriday scheduled8 hours vary between 7:00am-6:00pmwith rotatingSaturdays8:00am-12:00pm
Work Location: Schaumburg Travel Required
Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all agegroups.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing andanalysis.
Maintain patient and specimen informationlogs.
Provide superior customer service to allpatients.
Clerical duties as necessary.
Travel toadditionalsites whenneeded.
Education
High School graduate or equivalent required
National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred
Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.
Moderate knowledge of medical terminology excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills experience education certifications geographic location and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials bonuses and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
