Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour.
Hours:Day evening and night shifts available.
Qualifications:
- Must have Phlebotomy certification
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a phlebotomist.
- Must provide three (3) letters of recommendation from lab supervisors clinical teachers or physicians attesting to clincal skills.
Responsibilities: Shall be responsible for but not limited to:
- Collect blood samples using the vacutainer blood collection system or syringe with needle/butterfly when necessary. The Phlebotomist follows established procedures of correctly identifying the patient and for the appropriate specimen to be drawn for the test(s) requested.
- Collect and process urine samples for both and/or timed collections for testing. Correctly instructs patient in the collection and handling of the specimen to be collected.
