Phlebotomist PRN Varies

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Laboratory Director and the Laboratory Manager thePhlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples using venipuncture or skintechniques and obtaining other specimens for ordered diagnostic studies. Also responsiblefor performing assigned waived testing charting and faxing all types of patient reports.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years in a clinical laboratory.
PREFERRED: LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Phlebotomy certification.
REQUIRED SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge and skills to perform venipunctures specimenprocessing and communication with customers.
