Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm This is Full-Time position.

Job Overview:
As an experienced phlebotomist at Patients Choice youll be the go-to pro for blood draws. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive excellent care and youll play a key role. Were looking for someone who wants to help create positive patient experiences. A typical day here includes performing the proper procedures for specimen collection. These could include Venipuncture Capillary sticks Urinalysis Glucose Tolerances and First Aid. This happens after registering the patient while interacting courteously and professionally. You should ensure the accuracy of patient identification and proper specimen labeling.
You will also be required to follow HIPAA guidelines and complete all assignments on time. We require you to display a professional attitude and personal appearance and be familiar with Bloodborne Pathogens Hazard Communications and Laboratory Safety Manuals. You will know how to handle patients with adverse reactions to venipuncture and be proficient in computers and technology for data entry purposes. You should assure safety through appropriate specimen labeling and notify physicians of critical lab results. A clean and organized phlebotomy area is a must and you may be asked to perform additional duties by a supervisor.
What Were Looking for:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of phlebotomy experience is highly preferred
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Certifications: Completion of a Phlebotomy course preferred
- Team Player: Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer service-oriented position
- Physical Requirements: Repetitive motion standing lifting visual acuity kneeling reaching turning and bending
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in specimen handling and documentation
