Job Overview

Pharmaron is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to work part-time (20 hours) in our Clinical Research Unit in Baltimore Maryland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares verifies and completes sample requisitions under ClinSpark LabDAQ or paper.
• Organizes study specific documentation and labels and prepares for daily assignments.
• Collect laboratory specimen which may include blood urine saliva and stool etc. per protocol and established procedures.
• Understands the appropriate patient identification collection system order of draw and appropriate specimen required for specified tests.
• Properly explains process and performs venipuncture and other specimen collection as required using multiple collection methods.
• Labeling and Processing specimens transport specimens centrifuge aliquot and preparing for shipment when necessary.
• Perform non-patient facing duties including stocking inventory and study specific documentation.
• Maintain all appropriate logs (temp and maintenance) along with observe and follow all safety regulations.

What Were Looking For:

• 2-4 years of experience in Phlebotomy in clinical setting
• High School graduate or equivalent plus completion of Phlebotomy Training
• Certification in Phlebotomy from recognized organization (MLT certification also acceptable).
