First Choice Nurses is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Phlebotomist to join our team supporting hospital-based healthcare facilities throughout the Hampton Roads area. If you are passionate about patient care skilled in specimen collection and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment we want to hear from you.

- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures safely and accurately
- Properly identify patients and verify specimen requirements
- Label process and transport specimens according to facility protocols
- Maintain strict infection control and patient safety standards
- Provide compassionate and professional patient interactions
- Accurately document collections and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate effectively with nurses physicians and laboratory personnel
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a:
- Phlebotomist
Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination record or positive titer
- MMR (Measles Mumps Rubella) vaccination record or positive titer
- QuantiFERON Gold or T-SPOT TB test completed within the past year
- Physical examination completed within the past year
- National Phlebotomy Certification
- Previous hospital or acute care experience
