Job Description:

THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION THAT SUPPORTS OUR LAB SERVICES TEAM AT OUR LOCATION IN COVINGTON LA.

SCOPE: Collect specimens for laboratory analysis and prepare for processing by the laboratory. Greet and receive all patients in a professional warm and efficient manner. Utilizing the laboratory software; register patients into the system for proper specimen processing. Make sure to maximize in-house lab processing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform venipuncture on patients in both a timely and professional manner.

2. Verify lab orders are available and patients are registered.

3. Process specimens for internal and external processing.

4. Management of Lab area
